"Incoterms" (short from "International Commercial Terms") are pre-defined commercial terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) widely used in international trade.
The terms are an agreement between the seller and the buyer intended to define who is responsible for the payment and handling of the goods during shipping, from the moment the goods leave the seller's factory, up until their arrival at the buyer's door. Incoterms are intended to reduce or remove any uncertainties related to each party's responsibility of cost and risk before the shipment begins.
