How many pallets fit in a container?

EURO pallet or eur-pallet with dimensions 800mm width and 1200mm length is one of the most frequently preferred pallet type which is available in international transportation. Many European companies use euro pallet in their import and export operations as euro pallet is the standard European pallet as specified by the European Pallet Association (EPAL).

In addition to the euro pallets, industrial pallets with dimensions 1000mm width and 1200mm length, are mainly used in industry for the packaging of semi-finished goods.
How many euro pallets fit in a 20 ft and a 40 ft dry container?

As shown on the below picture, the internal dimensions of a 20 ft dry container are 2352mm width and 5900mm length and those of a 40 ft dry container are 2352mm width and 12034mm length:
You can fit maximum 11 pcs of euro pallets into a 20 ft dry container and 25 pcs into a 40 ft dry container in couple of different container loading plans.

On the below picture you can find an option suggesting how to fit maximum amount of euro pallets in a 20 ft and 40 ft container.
If using industrial pallets you can fit maximum 10 pcs into a 20 ft dry container and 21 pcs into a 40 ft dry container.

How many euro pallets fit in a 20 ft and a 40 ft HC reefer container?

A reefer container is used for transportation of cargo requiring special temperature conditions. As shown on the below picture, the internal dimensions of a 20 ft reefer container are 2294mm width and 5456mm length and those of a 40 ft HC reefer container are 2294mm width and 11584mm length:
A 20 ft reefer container can fit maximum 10 pcs of euro pallets a 40 ft HC reefer container can fit maximum 23 pcs, as shown on the below picture:
Respectively, you can fit maximum 9 pcs of industrial pallets into a 20 ft reefer container and a maximum 20 pcs into a 40 ft HC reefer container, as shown on the below picture:
